About Me

I am a 50-year-old widow, a solo parent, and a woman learning, sometimes clumsily how to live again.

Widowhood isn’t one thing, it’s grief, anger, guilt, strength, exhaustion, laughter, fear, and moments of peace that can disappear as quickly as they arrive. This blog exists, because there wasn’t enough honest space for what life really looks like after loss, especially at this stage of life.

Some days I’m strong, some days are heavy. All of it is real.

If you are here because you’re widowed, grieving, starting over or loving someone who is, you’re not alone. This is a place for honesty and reflection. I hope this will help assist you in finding your footing again, one step at a time.
